Charter Rates & Information
Rates are based upon one or two anglers, the length of the trip, and the season.

Back Country Trips:

  • Half day (4-5 hours) $325.00
  • Full day (7-8 hours) $450.00

Tarpon Trips:

  • Half day (4-5 hours) $375.00
  • Full day (7-8 hours) $500.00

A $50.00 charge is made for additional anglers. Most of our trips are half day. Eco and sight seeing trips are also available at reduced rates. To book a trip a 50% deposit is necessary. Weather is always a factor when venturing out on the water. Every effort will be made to reschedule trips cancelled due to poor weather. We are most often able to do this. However, if that is not the case, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. Last minute trips are always a possibility, it never hurts to inquire. We would appreciate a call the night before a charter between 6 and 9 pm. Cell phone numbers can be exchanged at that time. Most trips originate from the Placida Public Ramp, adjacent to the mainland side of Gasparilla Bridge. If possible, it is a good plan to visit this ramp the day before the charter.

Capt. Dave will do everything within his power to provide you with an enjoyable day on the water. Not every trip can create memories for a lifetime, however, that is the goal of each and every trip. Capt. Dave fishes a state-of-the art custom rigged Pathfinder bay boat. This allows for a comfortable ride with shallow water capability.

Dry storage is available for your personal items. An iced cooler is available for food and drinks. Must haves for every trip are sunglasses, sunscreen, and headwear. All licenses and tackle are provided. We fish with top quality Shimano reels, Loomis and St. Croix rods. All are light tackle. You are welcome to bring your own gear as well.

Most of our fishing involves the use of artificial baits, however we often use live baits -a plus for novice and inexperienced anglers. Again, communicate your desires to Capt. Dave. It is recommended that each day is began early at sunrise depending upon tides and weather conditions. This is your choice, however, as it is your trip. Afternoon charters are also available.

Please feel free to communicate your needs, desires, and expectations before and during the trip. Most trips are begun as species specific or what the “best bite” at that particular time. We will discuss this with you prior to our day of fishing. We will also discuss how to best target the selected species.

Again, our goal is to give you an enjoyable and memorable day on the water. For reservations and information contact:
